Yup I know who Mrs Brown is. I just listened to the track and I see where you're coming from. Did you see the one where she's bought the self waxing kit. When she goes in the cupboard under the stairs to try it out I cried.

4th Eden.

I've heard from Kev.......................he realy appreciates you giving his track a mention.
He also see's the topic's been totaly ignored...........as usual if he's involved.
I think it's all he deserves realy. He's got more guitars than me. Mind he has got a hoss. He likes to go out on Hossback and shoot Beech trees. They bleed like hell.
I've seen him do it....................... Mad

Branston P - will you ask Kev - does he do his own accents? That's a lovely Southern Irish accent in there - to be sure - and I like the way it's used to give Mike encouragement and moral support thoughout the track - even singing along. Gives it a nice homely touch.  :D

Yeh that's the lunatic in him doing the voices. He figures if MO can use vocals for effect then why shouldn't he.
He says the story behind the track is that Mike heads off from Blighty for the West Indies with all his kit and family, on board, but, the plane breaks down and is forced to land in the region of Kerry.

Rather than wait for the plane to be fixed he takes he's kit into a local studio to record TB XXV.

The engineer has never heard of him and accidently leaves the intercom mic on, and it gets mixed into the tracks.

He's just dissapointed he didn't put a little jig on mandolin at the end, like at the manor on the original boxed set.

He's talking of doing the whole of TB in a similar fashion. ie Irish. I think he's crazy. I've heard the Irish version of Caveman. It's mad.

Well this is to all Tub Bellers... (what do we call ourselves?)... Whatever went on in the past is in the past and Kev's music is great... and up there with Mike Oldfield... sod it, he should have his own forum!!

The piece I posted was technically brilliant and really funny! I've noticed a general 'quietness' on the forum since my return which is why I thought about injecting some new ideas in the 'Showcase' idea.. so please comment on Tubular Bells, the showcase tracks, others music (well, mine as well if you like)... we all like praise and constructive criticism
