Hi All,

Apologies if this has already been covered or if it's common knowledge.

Does anybody know of the whereabouts of the TB1 Blonde Telecaster? I remember seeing it on that eBay auction a while ago and then the Bonhams auction but nothing since.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Cheers,

Matt

That's just being greedy mate. You already have THE SG (mutters under breath that it's just not fair). The Tele would be nice!Shame if he did sell it but then he did sell the SG's (as you know) and some of the PRS' .Even if he was unhappy about the fact that it wouldn't play in tune. All been discussed already though  :)

My language is French, therefore I am not sure to understand this sentence.
What does it mean?
:/

Gotcha. Thanks for that.

Blimey. How much do you have to pay to get hold of the "Ommadawn" SG?

It's really wierd. This is the guitar that made the sounds that have been with me all my life (Ommadawn, Rebirth section, end of side one). I guess everybody could say the same...

Agreed!

I say that we buy the lot and found a MO museum.

Guitarists get to come along and play the instruments.

We'll base it in that guest house at Hergest Ridge...

Could be a very realistic thought regarding that a couple of fans own most of his guitars right now.

And The Beacon is a very beautiful place to be!

After me that is!  MITR

The Tub Tele was for sale for £25000, but when i offered that the price went up to £50k.  So i pulled out as Mike would not hand it over in person  - i though that was reasonable for 50k.

It then came up on Ebay and the max offered was £7500 so it was withdrawn.  It then went for Auction for charity but didn't reach it's reserve.  I then offered to buy it again but have not been replied to.  That was some time ago - I guess they (Mr Oldfield's Management Team) don't like me any more.

It is not worth much as a genuine Telecaster as Mike and his dad "fitted " a new extra pickup when he was about 14.  So trade buyers won't touch it.

Ray
