Yep for sure Songs of distant earth, chronology and oxygene 7-13 are great. I even seen Jarre perform at Maine Road Manchester during his chronology tour (great gig).

All said and done though, I’d have to say The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld is a pretty good synth album.  Especially if under the effects of some *ahem* mild hallucinogenics, with headphones plugged in.
The 90's what a sweet decade.
