Is this dance? Ugo, please advise!  :D

If it is, it's by far my favourite. (Silly video, though).

@ Milamber: Of course Electronic are in. They're almost PSB in their overall feel, and Neil Tennant was in there. :)

@ Nightspore: yes, it is. And yes, the video is silly. But almost all of Dario G's videos are - except "Dream to Me" (a cover of the Cranberries song) which features a nice-looking Swedish girl singer. :)

@ The Big BellEnd: ah, Men Without Hats. A real classic. Thanks for pulling it out. But to me that's not really dance - it's danceable pop, just like most Pet Shop Boys songs. :D

IMO Electronics last album (Twisted Tenderness) was their best.
I took 3 albums for them to develop a unique sound.

Also Dario G's "Voices" is a fantastic track, a little bit Amarok at the end :D

Yes, I like this too - although it's VERY much "Sunchyme 2"! The "na na na na" ending reminded me more of "Peace on Earth" than Amarok. It's clear that Milander yearns for the infinite as well....

The silly thing is that I have the Dario G CD containing this, but until now I've only ever played "Sunchyme", as I hate "Carnaval de Paris" and "Sunmachine". Perhaps Ugo could advise me what other tracks on it I'm likely to like!  :D

@ nightspore: "Malaway" has samples from Australian Aboriginals, so you may like it. :) "Revolution" is another good track, a bit repetitive maybe. The rest of the album is a re-doing of the "Sunchyme" pattern in various settings. I find it quite likeable as a whole. The only track I don't like is "Peaches", which is pure electronics.

Thanks, Ugo. Actually, I find aboriginal music rather tiresome. A one-note musical instrument (the didgeridoo): now that's minimalism! (Perhaps this should go on the "album most like Incantations thread!;)

Some bands go for originality, some bands go for anonimity,
some are too lazy for either.
Daft Punk this is your tap on the shoulder. you've been rumbled.

Great clip Ugo.
The guitarist pulls a few Classic Mike poses as he plays right at the end .
Wish Mike had covered this back in the early 80's.

Here's a happy one.

Gets good around 3:14

Yes, this has been posted before. It's one of the few JMJ pieces that don't "jar" with me. I think the fact that he doesn't rely on what is basically his usual rather simplistic synthesizer sound helps!
