I remember the first time I listened to TSODE. I was in a true rage. It had been a really bad day, and not even Gene Kelly's magnificent rendition of Singin' In The Rain could not calm me down. So, I sat down a listened to the Album I'd just bought, which was TSODE. I left the experience feeling the absolute reverse of how I felt prior to the experience. I felt joyful, ecstatic, and in a sense, rehabilitated. My rage had evaporated, right from the point of "In The Beginning" and that wonderful burst at "Supernova", right to "A New Beginning", I felt like I'd found a new home somewhere. Strange, bittersweet and wonderful. It is truly a magnificent album, one of Mike's best.

If you bought it new and you hear static blips, I suggest you use a professional disc cleaner system and antistatic product (no Lencoclean, that will kill the record! ) as it sounds as if the grease from the mold is still in your record. Other possibility is that your 'table has an earth issue. In this case, a Distant earth issue

) the possibility of damage can be left out, and as only 500 or 1000 were made, even number 1000 will be only halfway through the mold's life.
