Hi,
I am (like anybody here) a mike oldfield fan.
I was in berlin at the Siegessaeule, only
200 meters away from the master :-)
But the sound was really shit!!! I think
they have put all the 25m german marks
in the light spectacle (which was not bad,
but not that much). Most of the (bad)
sound came from a sidefill, not from the
front PA. He played first part of Tubular
Bells (5min), Moonlight Shadow and Shadow
on the wall.
I could not hear his new song, but short
after midnight I could get nearer to the
stage and "Freude schoener Goetterfunke"
was really great!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was really sorry about the bad sound,
but it was a great start into the
year 2000, though....
