I'm trying to have a healthy attitude about this. There was a movie circa 1982 called "The World According To Garp" based on a novel. American actor Robin William's first dramatic role poorly recieved since he was a comedian, but it was brilliant and many messages in the movie paralelled my life perfectly. In one scene, he and his new wife find a house with a realtor. Just then, a prop plane crashes into his house and he says, "I'll take it. It's already been pre-dissastered." I hope in 2010 that works......We'll see. Different rules apply now. 2 freaks in Moscow just blew themselves up along with many others. Let's just hope Moscow dosn't reply with nukes. That affects us all. Just when a new nuclear talk(to reduce weapons) is going on. I think that attack was timed to screw up these new talks. I guess they were thinking "Ok, the USA is fine....lets screw with their former adversary."

Hey Jim,

Sorry to hear about your misfortune... at least nothing was taken. Weird, the exact same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago, and they didn't take anything either. Actually, that kind of thing happens a lot around here, break-ins, people's tires getting slashed.

Life's a bitch. The "haves" and the "have nots" are so closely related that there is little distinction between the two.

Good question. "Normal" doesn't really make any sense when applied to people does it.

Been lurking for a while, and just discovered that this is a forum I can actually access at work (many are blocked).

Just did the test in the original post, and scored 41 ...

Is that bad? Its just a number though, a prime number, actually.

Sorry if this post is currently offtopic ...

That's Milamber - he's incorrigible :p

Derek - wear it (virtual) if you like it, or maybe you're not big on Rolex watches. I'm not.

How about this PRIZE then  :D

I finally took some time to did this. I scored 16. I think that I actually AM a bit autistic, but only in reference to my Windows XP desktop: when, for any reason, an icon is not where it should normally be (and I'm not talking about the stuff I put on the desktop - I'm talking about the icons that are always there, such as My Computer, Trash, Network, IE etc.), I usually go through the most hellish pains while trying to bring everything to its original configuration. I also hate it when icons of 'undeletable' files just get stuck on the desktop. But I recently found a way to get rid of those. :)

That's OCD, not autism, surely?
