OK here's the news, last night while watching the end of Rob Dougan's 'Clubbed To Death' video on MTV UK's 'CHILLOUT ZONE' came the 'Hardfloor mix' of Mike Oldfield's 'Let their be light', a stunning video of animation quite obviously taken from his Music VR. The remix is OK, but has nothing on the video, a real piece of classy work involving a dragon and other parts of Oldfield's wild world. Korgscrew Group: Super Admins Posts: 3511 Joined: Dec. 1999 Posted: Aug. 31 2002, 16:24 There's a dragon in the Let There Be Light Video (along with manta rays and other things) - don't know if this is the same image that accompanies the remix, but it sounds like it could be. If so, it's pre-Music VR, though Mike had already begun experimenting... Back to top

Korgscrew Group: Super Admins Posts: 3511 Joined: Dec. 1999 Posted: Aug. 31 2002, 22:55 The Let There Be Light video was included in the interactive section of The Songs of Distant Earth (on later versions, anyway) - you can still buy it, but it's only playable on a Macintosh computer (though there are ways around that). The video won an award for its computer effects (what award it was, I don't know...) Back to top
