Never heard so good music for a long time... This album belongs to my top 10 out of my 1000 records collection. As years go by, there are only few ones that you really like from the beginning to the end! You want to know my top list? Here it is: albums that are excellent from the beginning to the end!! 1) Selling England by the pound - Genesis 2) Lyle Mays - Lyle Mays 3) Amarok - Mike Oldfield 4) Happy the man - Happy the man 5) Red queen to Gryphon three - Gryphon 6) Scheherazade - Renaissance 7) Thick as a brick - Jethro Tull 8) Studio Tan - Frank Zappa 9) Moonshine - Collage 10) The Wall - Pink Floyd Now why not Moving pictures - Rush? because "vital signs" is ordinary...probably in my top 100! Now why not Clutching at straws - Marillion? because all the songs are very good but not extremely good...probably in my top 100! Now why not Jurassic shift - Ozric tentacles? because this music is so weird! probably in my top 100! Now why not Secret story - Pat Metheny? because some excellent songs of this excellent music could be played in a shopping center! probably in my top 100! Now why not I - Van Halen? because this almost perfect album is pure hard rock! probably in my top 100! Now why not Pergamon - Tangerine dream? because this very unique live album sounds a bit experimental! probably in my top 100! Tons of records! Tons of good music of which each album has a rank...which is very hard to determine!! Back to top

Great to see Selling England at No 1. I have loved that album since i first heard it back when it was released. Anyway here goes 1. When In Rome- Penguin Cafe Orchestra 2. Ambient Fish Group: Members Posts: 13 Joined: June 2004 Posted: June 11 2004, 07:10 This is a very difficult one as your mood changes from day to day and you select albums to match your mood, however, that doesn't stop you from naming 10 cut's which make your hi fi sing and your heart glad so in no particular order of preference here are 10 of my favourite albums; Tales from Topographic Oceans - Yes The Story of I - Patrick Moraz Amarok - Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells III - Mike Oldfield Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Oxygen - Jean Michel Jarre Euphoria (Blue Cover) - Varoious Artists Return to Fantasy - Uriah Heep The Rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust - David Bowie Hormonally Yours - Shakespear's Sister Most of these choices are driven by the fact that they sound really atmospheric in Dolby Pro Logic II with an excellent ambient soundfield. Glossy glossy glossy glossy glossyayayayayah... Nothing beats that) 7. OK Computer - Radiohead 8. Fear Of Music - Talking Heads 9. Abbey Road - The Beatles 10.
