The sound of that glocky instrument - forgive me I don't know the name - really left a great first impression! I like that sound, I really do. You should make another track with this instrument playing the main theme or something. ;)

The harmonics are well chosen, I think. But I think there is room for developping your melody. It's cool on it's own, but I think it would be cooler if more stuff around would be happening, not to much, just a little. Anyway, that's more a matter of taste.

What I strongly advise you to do though, is a better ending! No really, this track deserves a better ending than just a seven time repeat of a doubled melody, plus a fade out. Please make a better ending! It's really unsatisfying like this.

Thanks again Music, the ancient language.... Your criticisms are always well pondered and is easy to notice that you listen to the music carefully...

Yes. I agree with you. All my themes lack of more development. I have a new begining for the theme but i haven´t an ending. If i found one i won't hesitate...

Thanks again

Interesting tune. Nice what the guitar plays and how it mixes with the vibraphone thing. Good moments here. If the quality was up higher a couple notches it would really be good. Great job.

Interesting, Reminds me of Incantations Pt.3.

I think you should have a crescendo at 1:12...it also sounds a bit off time.

Other than that, i think it's a lovely piece, i can really tell the Oldfield influence here especially at 1:47 - Great solo.

Keep up the good work.

real good. can i give you a little pice of advice? try to give importance to the different parts with a bell tree, or a reverse crash to intoroduce them better, to give a second of wait (sorry for my bad english, i hope you can understand what i mean. in italy we are not so famous for our english :-)) . a reverse sampled male choir can be good in the middle.
good the use of marimba, it will be perfect if you follow it with a high tune piano to givr a double power, making a sort of crescendo.

i've stop the listening of tubular bells 2003 just bought to listen the piece. :-)

bye

thanx everybody!!! DarkenedEdo, don´t worry about your english... My english is at least as bad as yours (in fact, i'm spanish)...

The sound reminds me more to 'Music from the balcony' than incantations or ommadawn.

I don't like the beginning, I like it when the guitar comes in, the rest is too oldfieldish imo (but that's hardly a flaw ). and remove those strings, they sound like crap, really. :) they remind me of soundblaster midi instruments.

Bevy! Don't attack him! I think it's a very positive thing that someone posts comments - even if it isn't constructive - that explains their feelings towards the piece. More people should do that with all the tracks! And if you're going to attack them, you scare them away! Or at least make them think twice before posting another comment.

Keep it up, Torben!

he doesn't have to mean anything really bad... sometimes you don't have mood for this or that...
or you just don't like the genre?
why to point out the bad things so much?
well he asked for feedback and he gave it to him...

sry this wasnt an attack as u say,,

It just makes me angry when some one has taken the time and effort 2 do some music that is very good for some one 2 just say it is no good...

maybe if they gave a reason why then i would understand.

but sometimes i feel if you have nothing to say then you are better keeping your mouth shut..

as i said some nice guitar work .. but is anyone gona say that??

torbenyj ..give a reason...

Yes, you can hear it's an Oldfield inspired piece of music.
It worked out well IMHO.
Nice composition, nicely played. Well done. :)
