The main thing to remember here is that it isn't on the final version of the album. It's not unreasonable to think that not everything he plays comes out perfectly first time, laughing at it seems a bit mean.

a funny clip..
I must confess that i get mad when nothing seem to work...
I play guitar too and someday i just cant play. Everything goes wrong..
But imagine, when you paint a picture and you fail. (watercolor) That is not funny when it cost you money.....
You must start over again..  :O  :(

Tee hee hee. Well, I say, spontaneity is the key. :) As for a "genius making a mistake", I say that if he did not commit mistakes, he wouldn't be a genius, but a goddamn bore. :D

John Lennon and Paul McCartney say exactly the same thing, in pretty much the same circumstances, during an early unused take of "The One after 909". And of course they're geniuses as well. :)

Well, that very same expletive seems to have been captured on Hey Jude, just before the end of the last verse. It's kind of buried, though, and there might be a bit of speculation, but it sure does sound like it.

Well, that very same expletive seems to have been captured on Hey Jude [...]

@ Sir M.: Of course there is. John says (to Paul) "Got the wrong chord!", and then "F*cking hell". However, the expletive I'm referring to is another one - on Anthology 1 "One after 909 - Sequence", you can hear Paul flubbing his bass line and then going "Oh, f*cking hell", very clearly :), after which someone (George Martin?) says "Do it again". Seeing the Mike clip, I was instantly reminded of this. ;) Also, on an early take of "Day in the Life", Paul gets his words wrong: "And everybody spoke and I went into a dream - oh, sh*t!" :D
