Amidst all the aggression on here, I ask you to take a moment to remember the at least 91 people killed in Norway yesterday, including 85 attendees of a youth camp...

Well said, Syd.

Reminds me, and it is cliche, but true: Peace begins within, then spreads to one's neighbors, community, state/region/province, then to the world. I cannot stand what's been happening here lately. The tubular.net community is awesome. Thinking. Creative. Intelligent off the scale. And generally caring and sharing. We are better than the exchange of anger and aggressiveness that has happened here. Peace folks, peace.

My heart goes out to Norway...to friends and relatives there and to everyone who has been torn apart and forever changed by yesterday's violence.

So...a day in the life.....I was working on the other thread that had gotten so mean-spirited (and dunslooser--I owe you an apology--will pm you hopefully soon) when my brother, whom I'd not seen since December, stopped in for a visit. He is somewhat escorting me down the aisle next month (but he doesn't know I have no intention of walking-I will break free and dance). After saying hello and getting situated, I ignored him for a few moments to bin the other topic for now until we have a chance to review and figure out what to do and where to go from here. My bro left a little while ago, so here I am again, but in transit as my day will consist of driving people around then hopefully going to my fiance's gig. But I really need to clean the house, do some painting and scraping, and work out. Also need to collect my youngest daughter from a few towns over and an air conditioner. I usually love heat, but it's gotten to me. Plus, we have a new puppy, named Paris Hilton (a miniature poodle)--my daughter's idea--and she has been very hard to house train and still isn't sleeping through the night. I am tired.

But I am happy for this moment in space-time to be alive.  By the way, I have a new physician who recommended I watch a National Geographic video on stress (he's thinking I need to chill). I pass it on for anyone who might be interested, but I must say that watching it stressed me out even worse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7K_1XTvUz0

@Milamber--you are so lucky to be getting sleep! I don't think any of my daughters slept through until they were like...5 yrs. OK...maybe earlier than that, but I do think it was at least a year or two. All of them loved Goodnight, Moon.

Peace,

Inkanta

Wow--it's been so long if ever that I embedded a video that I had really only wanted to provide the link, but not the video, itself. My point is that tubular.net should be a happy place where people come together to discuss Mike's music, perhaps to collaborate, and to have meaningful discussions. It shouldn't be a place that raises anyone's heart rate or blood pressure.

:(  ..what the ..... !!! ...as i said on another topic , i don't know what happened , and i think it's better like this . i also said that i don't read all the posts on Tubular.net so i surely didn't seen the post about the origin of the problem ... anyways it's really really sad !

I thought we were a family !....

Of course my friend Cameron i'll continue to mail you !!! No problem ! I've really loved to work with you on the project , even if some could thought it's a small and insignificant project ! It was something new , great and motivating for me and for the first time i felt good and  useful to someone .

I just saw the latest Harry Potter movie, and it was stunning like the previous movie. The more I grow up the more I start doubting the 'fantasy' genre, but I must say that HP will always be magic to me.

p.s. I think I'm in love with Emma Watson   :D

Note to self: Send some tubular popsickles in a variety of flavors to the Tubularians. Like Robert Plant used to say, "you need coolin'....". Go to the liquor store when they open at 10. Ask your street contacts how there can be stress on a Mike Oldfield internet fan site? Is there heavy lifting involved? Are there mean bosses looking over their shoulders or lawyers suing for child support? Once you solve this mystery go home and walk the pups. Be cool Self.

Man, I'll never grow out of fantasy. Elves and Dwarfs are my best friends. :D

Actually, if you wanna read some more "literary" fantasy, check out Lord Dunsany. His writings are quite interesting, and he influenced everybody from Tolkien to Lovecraft to Edgar Allen Poe.

Yeh...............What a year !

Worked me butt off for very little reward................and I'm all set to do it again in 2012.

Family loss to boot......just to finnish it off.

But hey its still good to be an Oldfield fan...............coz he can help you thru all the crap ................and ..........give you something that makes it all worthwhile. Happy Christmas Maestro.

I'd also like to wish all members of the Tubular.net community, of now and times gone by, a very Merry Christmas and every happiness and good health in 2012...another year goes by and another lies waiting...lets hope it's a good one for everyone, Mike included naturally!!

2011 has had it's ups and downs for sure, but the future is bright...we move on :)
