wiga Group: Members Posts: 2113 Joined: Sep. 2008 Posted: May 30 2011, 09:30 It's Bank Holiday Monday today - called Spring Bank Holiday  - a bit of a dull and rainy one, but I find it quite relaxing. My work at a sixth-form college is winding down now for the summer - starts again in September. Some kids there really have it VERY tough at home, and when I started in January I couldn't believe some of the horrendous scenarios going on for them. You've got parents stabbing each other, fathers' committing suicide, mothers' dying of cancer, neglect and abandonment! But what impresses me about these teenagers is how so bright and articulate they are despite their troubles, and they do bounce back! They're an inspiration.
