Syd - Yes, sorry to hear. Getting your tyres slashed - is that a random thing that happens in your town, or is it someone with a grudge? Either way it's depressing. Do you have plans to move out of there?

Thanks guys.  :)

@ Wiga:

I think it's just random. Just about everybody here has had it done to them. Someone actually broke in to my car a while back as well. There's a lot of angry people with no jobs around that have nothing to do but cause trouble. And yes, actually hopefully I will be able to move soon. So I think this will all have a happy ending. :)

We'll prepare the Wagon-train,Syd. You can ride up-front when we
head-em-up and move (You) on out...  ;)

Well I just got back to the Isle of Man having been sailing in Norway for 9 weeks.  So.. sailed across the North Sea twice, up and down between Bergen and Stavanger a few times....etc.,

Weather was sunny for 8 weeks out of 9, so some fantastic weather and excellent pictures to show for it.

Funnily enough though, we were coming back through the Caledonian Canal this past week and we kept meeting up with these Swedish guys, one of whom was a professional guitarist (Stafan)....needless to say I had a guitar with me so one night we visited their yacht for a Tuning session which turned into a Scottish / Sweedish traditional music party, with people from other boats joining in.

In the end there was a fiddle player from scotland, two guitarists and my playing the Bodhran  ( which was a modified beer box and a trimmed down wooden spoon for a beater).  It was very much on the amusing side, i spapped to the guitar for a short rendition of moonlight shadow which everyone seemed to know.  ( there is a video somewhere as one of the Swedish guys had a vid cam)

Brilliant Near-ending to a fantastic trip.

Living on a yacht is fantastic, more so when the weather is consistently good - your living space becomes very large as you don't just live on your boat you live around it as well.  Perfect for Toran (now 5) who adapted to it without question.  Especially as in one place they trucked in 200 tonnes of sand and build a beach with real palm trees (just for two days) on the harbour right next to the boat.  Only in Norway can this happen !!!!

Regards

I just encountered a badger that ran away and made a grunting noise.
It's so hot we're re-locating to the bottom floor of our house, bringing matresses. Our doughter sleeps in her pram.
I just installed a third monitor in my studion.

Why a third monitor? A fourth I can understand, but what's the point of having an odd number of speakers? Do you wanna hear in tetraphonic sound or something? Sounds cool, but I suspect most people will stick with stereo.
