Hi All,

I have a couple of questions about the Elements DVD...

1.Which version of Innocent is included? Is it the one with the animation or the one with Mike in the studio / laboratory?

2.Is the video of Guilty the animated cartoon style clip?

If anyone can answer those Id be very grateful.

Many thanks
Stu

1. Innocent is the lab/studio version. Though it has lots of video effects, I guess with 'animated' you means more something in the graphical style of 'Guilty' or 'Heaven's Open' - which also answers
2. Yes, Guilty is the animated version.

Hi Jules, will do but its nothing too exciting, just a bunch of mpegs / VCDS and avi's that I'm converting to DVD, nothing particularly rare. There doesnt appear to be any difference between the VCD source quality and DVD SLP quality so the disc should be about 6 hours when finished as recording on a higher quality would be redundent, all the menus and such are transcoding as I type, heres the tracklist...

1.The Space Movie (Full-Length Version)
Soundtrack includes excerpts from Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, Orchestral Tutbular Bells, Orchestral Hergest Ridge and Incantations.

2.La Samana De 40 TV Special

Sentinel (Promo)
To France (TV Performance)
SHine (Promo)
Magic Touch (Promo)
Heavens Open (Promo)

Pacha Mama (Promo)
Interview

3.Promo Videos

Man In The Rain
To Be Free
Tubular Bells 2003

4.T.V. Performances
Portsmouth (Top Of The Pops - Dance routine by Legs & Co.)
Guilty (Top Of The Pops)
Pastosi (w/Diego Cortes) (TVE)
Mistake (6.55 Special)
Taurus 2 Excerpt (w/Paul Inder) (Razzamatazz)

I beg to differ - that looks REALLY exciting to me!  But then I have a primitive computer and haven't seen ANY of that stuff.  A full length Space Movie alone would get me excited!

We should set up a tree for that thing!

Hi Jules, yeah we should definitely set up a tree then, I just assumed everyone would have that stuff, Ive been buying Oldfield albums for 25 years but only just started trading his unreleased stuff so am just starting to get a feel for whats out there and whats the most common bits n bobs. Can I leave tree organisation in your hands? I dont mind sending a copy on to whoever to get the ball rolling.

Stu.

I'd rather you didn't!  I have zero experience and only have an audio burner!

I'm sure of two things: (1) it's winging its way towards you as we write this, and (2) you won't be disappointed with it. It's a real bumper bundle.

I will quite happily get the ball rolling on this DVD project if you like - what I can do is do two or three copies for people here, if they then promise to copy on for other people.

Are you planning on doing menus / artwork kind of thing for this?!

James

Good lord you dont want much do you old chap! :) the disc is basically just a bunch of mpegs and such that I downloaded and slapped on to dvd so i could watch from the comfort of my armchair, its nowt fancy but if you want to set up a tree for it or a vine then i dont mind sending a copy on, only thing is id like to keep my sending side to the uk as the nearest post office is quite a way off so id rather just bung on a couple of stamps and get the blighter out, if thats any good to you mail me at info@payoladisco.com but be sure to put something Oldfield related in the subject bit otherwise i'll probably delete it as junk.
