It looks like there will be a 50th Anniversary release of Hergest Ridge for Record Store Day on 20th April. Is this going to be part of a new re-issue package? There is nothing on Mike's official website yet.

It's the demo version, which we already have on CD/digital, although this is its "debut" on vinyl...

"mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road. With new artwork overseen by Mike Oldfield (including photographs taken on the Ridge in 2023)".

Yes, I just got the email notification about it. Mike has overseen the new artwork, which was photographed in 2023 so, even though he is not making new music, maybe we still have hope for more anniversary celebrations of albums, maybe Robin Smith could tour the orchestral Hergest Ridge? I have to say I really like the new cover artwork.
