I remember a while back, posting that this forum was unlike any other on the internet - the people treated each other with respect, and seemed genuinely friendly.
I'm having second thoughts.
Maybe it's just the inevitable destiny of every forum? I see the official Ultravox forum has been closed for good, due to members falling out repeatedly. I left a Kate Bush forum for the same reason (I was threatened and abused, so I left).
All I wanted to do by joining this forum, was chat with others about Mike Oldfield. It was a wonderful gift to offered the chance to contribute my music to a project for Mike. We all did some great work, and achieved something wonderful.
Please guys - let's use this pool of musical talent to create something long-lasting, and prove that an internet forum can be a haven of creativity - and not just another 'school playground' like most forums.
