Probably most of you already knew this, but i discovered today, thanks to the Spanish blog about Mike, that the Sea of Crises (which is the name of the painting on the Crises cover), is actually one of the regions of the moon. This explains the relation between the album title and the moon (and Moonlight Shadow).

Thank you amazarak, I found another hint at the link you suggested:
Mare Crisium is the setting for Arthur C. Clarke's 1951 short story The Sentinel

I knew that The Sentinel was the name of a story by Clarke, but i didn't know it was set on the moon (and in the Sea of Crises)

Aye, I've noticed that too. This is highly probable that Mike borrowed the title from that story. I haven't read it yet, though.
