Quote (Blue Dolphin @ Mar. 25 2008, 10:48) | Why do you pay for that if I may ask? |
Because I wanted a copy and they wouldn't give it to me for nothing
Perhaps had I not been there, I'd not have been so interested in getting the recording, but I wanted it as a souvenir. I must say it makes a nice one.
I could also hear the difference compared to a CD, but there is no CD, and no immediate plans to release one (or a higher bitrate version on iTunes either), so it's currently a case of compromise or nothing...you pays your money and you takes your choice...
It's nice music, an enjoyable performance, and the artefacts aren't too annoying. That may make me a sucker, but then that's not unusual for a fan
I'd personally like a high resolution surround version (I can instantly hear the difference between that and CD too), but I'm not going to hold out for that either!
