I'm kind of in a good position in that I appreciate a good pop song as much as I appreciate beautiful pastoral stuff or headbanging prog riffs, so I find much to enjoy on this album.
Anyone who enjoys this album should try listening to 'Bankstatement' or 'Still' by Tony Banks (Genesis keyboard player) which I always find quite similar to it, actually. Probably a bit more depth to those albums actually but superficially quite similar, especially BS.
Anyway, I absolutely love Holy, Far Country, Blue Night and Earth Moving - ultimately voted for Earth Moving though, as it's wonderfully uplifting despite (or perhaps because of?! the cheesy 80's production.
Top album, anyway (and this is coming from a hardcore prog rock fan...)
James
