The most cringy song in my opinion is Elton John's "Daniel".

But you look like (a) Daniel.
Oops sorry thats just the clouds in my eyes

Can be creepy if it's your name, but I agree this is a creepy song anyway.

With my name, I only know of this one, I Gotta See Jane, but actually I don't mind it.

There's a song called "Jane" on Jefferson Starship's Freedom at Point Zero album. Not one of my favourite tracks on the album ("Lightning Rose" is), but it's there.

Ooah, thanks Nightspore - I like that one. I've heard it before but didn't realize he was singing "Jane" !! She sounds to be a rogue and scoundrel in this song.  :O  :/

@ Nightspore: are The Ferrets 70s or 60s? The comment says 1977, but they sound terribly like the Sixties. Bad. Very bad. :)

Adding to the thread: Ricky Martin's "La Copa de la Vida", also known as "The Cup of Life". Most FIFA World Cup anthems are utter crap [including Shakira's "Waka Waka" - or maybe should that be "Wanka Wanka" ??]. Maybe Vangelis did the only good one in recent times.

Ugo, yes, the Ferrets are bad, aren't they? I'm not surprised Wiga found them creepy! But they are from 1977. They had an extremely annoying and popular song in Australia called "Don't Fall in Love". None of their follow up songs was as successful, and the band thankfully faded from view.

I tried to think of a song about "Cameron", but the closest I got was Poco's "Rose of Cimarron".  :p  As I like that, I won't post it on this thread (although I also posted Janie's Got a Gun", which I also quite like.)

I always thought I was nothing to write home about but it seems I'm not worth singing about

At least NS you didnt go with Cam pdown Races.

You know an interesting thread might be "What song best describes you".

So with the lack of a Cameron song just change the name in this one to Cam   :p

Maybe there is a Cameron song; it's just I couldn't think of one. Perhaps Ugo can - he has an encyclopedic knowledge of pop. Speaking of Ugo, there's a line in The Dream Academy's "The Party" that seems to describe Vicki: "The Italian with big green eyes".  :D

A scary number of songs listed in this topic are songs I like. I'm trying to figure out what that says about my taste in music... ;)

Well, I can't really find any songs with "Cameron" in the title, because it's not very common - either as a first name or as a surname. So, if no-one made a song about Cameron Crowe, or Cameron Diaz, or James Cameron [which I strongly doubt :)], there isn't any. However, there is a rapper named Cam'ron. As I hate rap, I think that this is sufficiently bad to qualify for this thread. :) My own name is also quite uncommon, and I don't have a name-song either.

Regarding Vicky, now her eyes are yellow. They used to be grrenish-yellow when she was a baby... ahem, a kitten :), but now they're yellow. The only person I ever met who had purely green eyes was my dad. @ Milamber: Vicki is much more than cute - shame I don't have an online photo of her that's big enough to prove it. I shall upload it soon.
