Why Is so much on Light And Shade taken from Tres Lunas? I thought they were to different albums, recorded in two very different ways

Mike must have a need to do more with the songs from the tres lunas game.
About "Sunset" he made a variation version of the theme from Maestro. Like Mike said about "Sunset" ; "In Maestro, my second Virtual Reality game, there's a specific tune you can only listen to when you reach the winning level. Here, I made a variation on it, but this time around, I was thinking about a chill out album, so I thought it would be nice to call it Sunset."
It could also be a easy way to fill up a new album, and to get finished with the last album in his 3 albums contract. (correct me, if im wrong)

...perhaps because he got too many complaints about not releasing all those good tunes from the games on a regular CD album?

yes! Of course..
I was waiting for tres lunas 2 (offcial), but it ever happend. Instead he gave us L+S, and i must say that i love the new versions. Only one thing to complain! Ringscape is not so very good i think. (i feel it's to massive) But this is not the discussion.

i must admit that Snow cavern flight sounds better than Ringscape..
The word or title Ringscape give me nothing, but Snow cavern flight do.
