Falco and Peter Orloff, "Jeanny". Compelling lyrics. What do I win?

@ nightspore: Falco - no, Peter Orloff - yes, "Jeanny" - not really. (Although it's commonly known as "Jeanny Part 4", the actual song title is longer - it does include the name Jeanny. Indeed, the first 5 words of the chorus are the title. :D). However, you've answered my "Who is this?" question. What do you win? Well, make a request. :)

@ Millie: really? I thought that Johnny Marr's collaboration with Neil Tennant, as Electronic, wasn't as well known as the PSB. Evidently I was wrong.

@ Dan: I'd rather send you one of my own songs than sing a cover of a song I don't like. :D

OK, next one: who is this? This time I'm giving no hints 'cause it's really easy. ;)

Beady Eye - Man of Misery. Your choices lately have had a valedictory quailty, Ugo - why is that?

@ nightspore: very good - I was right, it was easy, even though it's a B-side. Regarding my choices, well, I had to look up "valedictory" because I didn't know what it meant :D, but no, that's pure coincidence. All of my mystery clips tend to be either little-known songs, or songs by people who sound like other people and, as such, may be easily confused with other people. Like this. :D

Milamber says there are no coincidences...  :/

As for the music, it could even be Mike exploring different musical territory.

The concept of coincidences not actually existing has been explored and exploited in the past by various people. Right now, off the top of my head, I can't quote any speficic names.

Regarding my latest mystery, no, it's not Mike O. What did I just write above here about people sounding like other people? :D

I'm almost sure that this is Bjørn Lynne but I don't recognize this particular track. But this is his style and instruments. :)

@ EeToN: very good, it's indeed Bjørn Lynne. You don't need to tell me the track title ("The Spirit Rider"), because this quiz is "Who is this?". :D

I shall post my next 'mystery' on Friday, as the connection I have here right now is too slow to upload files.

Another Mystery (Should be easy for Ugo :D ).
And it's not a TV or Movie soundtrack.... in fact you can here a short reprise of their most famous tune mid way through the piece....

Mystery 11 or thereabouts

@ "Colonel" Millie a.k.a. Cameron: sorry for the very late reply... yes, the game got a bit lost. :) Anyway, it's Tears For Fears. That plinging guitar is unmistakable without ever hearing the reprise in the middle. I don't know this tune, though. What is it? :)

Very Good Ugo  :D
I thought you would find that one easy.

The track is called "Pharoahs" and it was originally the B side to Everybody Wants to Rule the World.

Good Bye Old Friend Thanks for Everything.
