This is probably just the 3cd box set which includes OTB and 2 other official albums. It's nothing rare or valuable.

I don't think it's that. That is the Orchestral Tubular Bells/Ommadawn/Earth Moving box and it is under $30.00 bucks. This is $80.00! It must be something else. Besides it doesn't mention having any two other albums inside. Maybe someone who does know about this could clarify my doubt without speculating? Thanx anyway!

I just checked a discography. It might be the Hergest Ridge/OTB/Ommadawn 3picture-cd box. That would be worth a bit more than the OTB/Ommadawn/EM box due to the picture discs. However, it could just be the OTB/Ommadawn/EM box, but at an unreasonable price. Believe me, it happens.

I've checked several MO sites for more on this and the following site provides the closest catalogue number to the one given in the starting post of this thread:
http://www.ommadawn.dk/user-cgi/a0001700/discog.pl

The set referred to is the 3CD "Ommadawn/The Orchestral Tubular Bells/Earth Moving" collection with a catalogue number of 854582. However, this is a Disky release, not EMI Intl.

As Rod's original posting is from Mexico then I suspect the import price has been inflated somewhat - happens all the time.
