Sounds like Renee and Renato.

Yes, perhaps. But this one is a good song :p
And a way sadder one.

(Thank you for listening, nightspore!! )

That reminds me of Jerome Bixby's story "It's a good life". Watch out - I'm channelling Anthony and this is Peaksville  :(

The Assembled Multitude version of the Tommy overture. I've always thought this was the best version - how could it not be, with those tubular bells?

Miles Davis "Filles de Kilimanjaro". Also, reading Herbie Hancock's autobiography ("Possibilities").

Weird music. I LOVE it, it is very relaxing and brings back memories.
(Besides, it reminds me some part of FMO... :D)

I'm currently listening to a lot of Italian soft porn soundtracks from the 60s. Right now it's "Femina Ridens" by Stelvio Cipriani. Once you listen, I promise you'll be hooked for life.

I remember Barclay James Harvest did something similar with "Titles".

My favourite Batt song on Tarot Suite - why he included some of the other songs on the record has me "stumped"   - is this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjNUPhIrt24

But who is "you" in the song, and who is "I"???  :p

Amusingly, of course, "bat" is a slang word for "masturbation", and according to Monty Python one must never say it to the queen. I feel confident that if  Mike is knighted he will remember this. :D

This is one of my favorite songs, nightspore!

I have been listening to Vincent lately, which is also excellent. A song for van Gogh.

I wonder if Mclean was being funny... how would a song sound to a guy with only one ear???  :D

In my mind, there is a connection between the two:

Abba - SOS (1975)

Kim Wilde - Cambodia (1981)

early synth-pop!

Helloween - Halloween

Ever since I learned that Mike wanted to bring Music of the Spheres out on Halloween and was unable to that word has connoted for me delays and disappointment and a not-getting-hopes up!
