Jesus, this is good! I just got this and had a low expectation of it before hearing it. I figured like most people: "She's getting old, the newer musicians I never heard of"........I'm so glad I was wrong. Annie sounds great, the musicians are superb. The final track is very haunting much like 1977's "Can You Hear Me". Recommended for all fans of Renaissance or MO or prog in general. RIP Mr. Dunford, you departed this world with one hell of a bang!! Great contributions by Ian Anderson and John Wetton. Enjoy this new album Tubularians. Jim

@scatterplot: thanks for reminding us Jim.
I already got tipped by Larry Fast on FB that this was a great album. Now I know I have to give it a go.

Random Acces Memories. Don't know if I like this, but I see the drummer is John Robinson (tracks 1-6, 14). He's just super. Here's Robinson with Michael Thompson (both on MO's new album): http://www.drummerworld.com/Videos/johnrobinsoncrawfishsalad.html

Aaahhh! Mansun..."The chad who loved me" is an old favorite. Good band!

NP:

Iniquity: Prohpecy of the Dying Watcher

They're Denmark's premier death metal band. I've had this song stuck in my head since my band shared stage with them in Copenhagen earlier this year.

Al Di'meola ~ Race with the Devil on Spanish Highway.

Apart from the way he prances around on stage wearing those flares, i really dig his guitar work.
