Well I've bought all 36, and I really like them. I'll probably use screen captures from your videos as CD covers, if that's OK. Is there any chance you'll be doing any more? The reason I ask is that I'm going on a short holiday to the Cook Islands next month, and it's always fun to have new music to associate with a place. (On Norfolk Island it was Dunlooser's Marathon and on Nassau it was Project System 12's Funkenzauber.)

:O that'll keep you busy for a while. LOL
Thank you

I just put up a video of the entire Origins album on YouTube which includes Tubular Dogs, which you can download already on red-heat.com (and freely, just enter $0 and an email to get it).

I am looking after my wife the next few days are intense (chemo). So will be on/off at odd hours to catch any updates - it is sad to see this board so quiet and I think social media is to blame for that, as the facebook groups seem to be quite active, but facebook is yuk.

Thanks - I've just downloaded Origins.

My favourite bonus track from RedReflections11 so far is "Mixed Feelings".

Was there a RedReflections1?

Sorry for the delay, we are dealing with some difficult times as my beloved wife of 21 years is currently undergoing chemotherapy and it is kicking the living life out of her, so I can't be here often in the right frame of mind.

That said, Im afraid RR1 is available, but I urge you NOT to get it. It is just a collection for historical sake, the material is crap from when I was a teenager and just learning the ropes. If you insist though, you can't blame me for any psychological issues that might arise from hearing it. Its available in the same store as RR2.

Meanwhile some good news, I got Origins (looking forward, now, not back) on to https://newagemusic.guide radio, which is a curated streamed radio and playlist of a lot of New Age artists, including Mike!

Its worth checking out because you might discover some more artists there that you might like too. (I am not affiliated, just one of those included on it).

have a good week and nice holiday :)

That reminds me of the John Cleese quote on the front of The Golden Skits of Wing-Commander Muriel Volestrangler FRHS&BAR : "I urge you strongly not to buy this book"

Anyway, I'll look into it. You're the doggie!  :D

I've also come across "Please Hold", which I like. Is that available "only" as a video, or is there a download site for it somewhere?

Thank you. But now I have a dilemma: do I listen to the track, or do I continue to watch the video? Why is life so complicated?

Life...

Ahhh.

Tell you something...  Have you seen the movie “being John Malcovitch”? Because, if spirits live on through other people, I’m happy that Mike has moved in.

Btw are you on Facebook? I’d be happy to have you as a friend cos then you’d get to see all the shenanigans.

(Examples: the best bits go on to Eindhoven.space (website))

Its a lonely life.

Indeed I have. Let's hope Mike doesn't end up on the New Jersey Turnpike, although I guess he might have a conversation with Paul Simon if he did... Tubular Bookends?

I'd be happy to be FB friends, although I warn you that some of my posts are quite frank. I'm not sure how to send facebook links but you can search for Daniel King if you like.

I'm already getting your Bandcamp updates... yesterday was the "Meow Meow Meow" song.

 I think I found you based on some posts related to OM Mike!

I'm really pleased to have met someone else who has seen that movie! It has a shockingly good insight into how people's memories can live on in other people just like going through the little door on the 13 & 1/2 floor (i think? bit rusty on details). That was so weird, but brilliant.

Yey, bandcamp spam. Yeah I am filling out the discography a bit ready for an online radio interview show in a few weeks. Its also given me the opportunity to get my blog site in order as that was a mess.

http://eindhoven.space/ if interested!

C u on the FB flipside!

Thanks; I've bookmarked the page. A few titles I don't recognize - eg, "Gravity Assist" - so they will be something I can delve into when I've digested Origins, Red Reflections I and Red Reflections II.

I may well have another look at Being John Kalmovich too.

The visuals in "Child of the Dog Star"

Oh gawd, you weren't meant to see that

Hmm there would seem to be some truth in that, as the video of "Child of the Dog Star" is no longer there (in fact the whole playlist is gone). Could you repost it, please, if you are still on this timeline  :O

i forgot about that, it was supposed to be moved to another channel but the video file got stuck in limbo, the audio was remastered recently and i'll try and get the master video downloaded from the cloud to reupload.

It's OK, I managed to find it in the depths of Google - almost the dark web, or should that be the red web?  :D

i've just watched "Child of the Dog Star" again. I note that "piloting" the spaceship is a pentagon/dodecahedron, just as in Maestro's Cometars.

Speaking of children of the Dog Star, Betelgeuse is not far away in the sky, so if it goes supernova maybe it will be Orion who has the baby!

Just in case it disappears, heres the master file (its 2.2GB) link will work for 30 days max. This one has the audio correctly mastered https://www.icloud.com/icloudd....-_CotDS

Dates back to the Mormon movement. The TV series of the same name dropped all sorts of symbols and talisman-like (cant find the right word) star maps which all reference the realm beyond the big barrier. Theres supposed to be aliens living in the vicinity of Sirius B (the dog star). l know Mike plays with words like dog/god all the time. Most prophet-like people do drop things into the public consciousness like that.

I am not even sure if thats in the same constellation, would be very weird if it was- now I need to go and check the Skymap app. :D

Nice to see you are still active here, hope you have had a good start to the new year! I did some music (a bit) and have been messing about with photoshop :-)
https://soundcloud.com/sonicsoundscapes/sets/digihastus-album (this is not a real album its just a playlist of the new stuff).  thats Mike's face.

btw since you know what to look for now (~ominous rotating objects~), theres this old thing i made ages ago to test out the 3D capabilities of the iPad (this is going back a few years) its for Tubular Bells III - https://youtu.be/ecJRhKg5qFA everything, all detail etc is all technical firsts for myself so its a bit amature.
