Hello,

this is my contribution to the exuberant festivities in the 40th Anniversary of Tubular Bells.

It is made with a virtual Orchestra, but I hope you will have difficulties
to hear a difference to a genuine one.
I used three different classical guitars on it, a more percussive sounding
Flamenco-like "CUENCA", a very old and heavy Solistguitar
"SIEGFRIED TODT" which sounds very warm, full and analog, plus a
"GARCIA" which costs quiet a lot and sounds somewhere in the middle.

I have to thank the absolute enchantress Soprano singer
CHARLOTTE SCHAEFER, she did the Vocalparts.
Further my thanks to UDO WEINERT from the Band "BLUES BUERRAU",
he did the Introduction of the Instruments at the End of Part One.
And, of course I will say Thank you to MIKE OLDFIELD, for all the
fantastic music over the last 40 years. All what he has done was
always different from all other and it was and is furthermore music
of superior Quality.

It is a full Album and for those who wants this music burning on a CD I
made a DVD-Box Cover and a CD-Label too.

If anyone ask me how this Work is to hear my recommendation is to
use not so inexpensive Headphones and first of all hear it LOUD!!!

Hope you will enjoy that all so here the Downloadlinks:

No comment yet?

This is a huge job mister, I had quite many expectations about the "ambient guitars" part, and you were perfect, even better than Mike playing live!

Hello,

just saw that the Filehoster is down.

I made Remaster of the whole thing (sounds better now), and I want to give that to you in Studioquality 24bit/48khz.
It is a big File (817mb) I know, but it is worth this for the Soundquality, especially if you using good Headphones.
I`m using a Sennheiser HD800, which is really an amazing piece of technology but other Headphones will do a great Job too.
It should be playable on all mediaplayers, like Windows Media Player or VLC-Player.
So, this is more for the "Audiophiles" here.

You can download it from here:
Tubular Bells for Orchestra and Guitar - http://dfiles.eu/files/7wkrmewqh

You can see a Preview here: http://www.youtube.com/playlis....gyPj7zL
I made a nice Video with some Animations, Pictures and so on to the music.
But sadly the Audioquality on Youtube is -aerrrmm- very bad, it`s only MP3 Quality with 256 kbit/s which is very low against
the CD-Quality 1411 kbit/s or even the Studioquality 2516 kbit/s I offer you above.

For beginners Youtube does not allow to release Videos longer than 15 minutes, so I had to split the Movie in four Parts.

Maybe here and there the Videos "are not avaiable", because of the avarice for money of some humans here some alternative Links to see them:

Tubular Bells for Orchestra and Guitar Part 1a: http://de.savefrom.net/#url=ht....rl=http

Tubular Bells for Orchestra and Guitar Part 1b: http://de.savefrom.net/#url=ht....rl=http

Tubular Bells for Orchestra and Guitar Part 2a: http://de.savefrom.net/#url=ht....rl=http

Tubular Bells for Orchestra and Guitar Part 2b: http://de.savefrom.net/#url=ht....rl=http

Hope you like this.

Can not await the upcoming Deluxe Editions of Discovery and especially of The Killing Fields...  patience, patience, patience.

Eeeeeerrrrrmmm, nothing more to say so far I think...

Best wishes to all      Tommes
