I know i am a American. But i Just Used a Translator and Changed it From English to Pourtraguese and it Came out as this:
Microfone Oldfield

I read the Microfone thing above... Heh heh. I have written a piece of Fanfiction where one of the characters is also called Michael, but everybody just calls him 'Mike'. And when I was planning to translate it to Portuguese, I used a translator to do the dirty work first. And everywhere, people were speaking to a microphone.

michael- as some of you may know is a byblical name- meaning its hebrew.

micha - means - Im not sure But i suspect "with you"
el - means god

surely worked for Mike.

Oldfield in hebrew is "Sa de" "Ya shan"

Michael Sa de Ya shan

my friends call him that when they wann amke fun of me :)
