Hello everybody.
Last night I did my personal web site. In the Music section you will find a lot of knowk tracks (prject 1 and 2 are become Moonlighting I and II).
In the Various tracks section there are two "news":
the first is "Noodles and Peas" a track composed and recorded one year ago in a night.
The second one is "Pier": it's a short track dedicated to my friend Pier. He leaved me after a long desease and now he's surfing on the clouds.

Thank you for visiting my site.
Edoardo

It looked interesting until I discovered.....I couldn't click on any of the links. Did you forget to add them? Or is this site browser-specific on how it works?

Hint! Hint!  :)

I downloaded the two tracks you mentioned above. They sound good, but I can't realy comment them, as I don't like new-age. I prefer things happening in music.

Anyway, nice job.

Just finally listened to them tonight.

Pier: Very Indian Lake/Song of the Boatmen-ish. Very nice indeed. Good use of bass and synth. I like it.

Noodles and Peas: Imaginitive name :). Seriously, very nice piano tune with good backing synth. And the percussion sounds are a nice touch. When they came in it reminded me of The Earth Spirit (From TL2) and Wild Goose Flaps It's Wings (Voyager). And the guitar is also beautiful.

Such talent, my friend, such talent. Please do not waste it (I'm not saying you have..you're doing great right now)!

THANK YOU!!!!!
anytime i surf this forum i feel real better. thank you to supporting me.

one little thing about 'noodles and peas' (do not read if you suffer a sick): i've composed this track after knowing a girl in april 2002. we had a great time together and one night she drunk too much and she felt bad. in a few minutes i've discovered what she had for dinner: noodles and peas. bleaaahh, so disgusting, isn't it? i think i'm so bastard sometimes... :D i composed and record this track with so much cuba libre inside my stomach... ;)

now i will post in the gallery section one photo about it!!

reading your anecdote again i realize this is one of the greatest things of art... it turns disgusting matters (noodles and peas mixed with beer or whatever it was are indeed :D ) into beauty...
so no problem with the noodles if that was the origin of this piece of music.

Before listenning to the track "Noodles and Peas", after reading it's title (and after reading one of your posts in another topic, talking about work to eat...), two images came to my mind:

1.-First of all, I saw an old  and poor Darken Ed sitting on a broken chair at an old table in an empty room, only an electric guitar at a corner, no electric light, only a candle light, eating pasta and peas. But it was not as a "real" image,it was like a drawing, like a bit of comic...you were wearing a long white beard... ( ah, crazy me...! )  I've visited your website and I have found a pic in the gallery that shows you "younger" that in my "mind image" (but the beard is there, not white but there it is... :)))   )

2.- the second one , was the..."disgusting image"  as you described it after

I must say that after having listened to the track, I can't find the conection between the music and the...disgusting fact , but that's what I like, only the artist has got all the clues but we are free to find what we want.

             Anyway,it's a wonderful track! ;)
