Does anybody know what's the absolutely complete lyric from 'Runaway Son' (with also the rough voices)?

I want to do Mike Oldfield's most complete lyrics, please, help me if you can!

Thanks, EeToN

Hi!

I forgot one thing to mention:

According to Mike's words, this song is about/inspired by Mike Tyson. I suppose that the "rough" voice is also talking about boxing and it's perhaps the trainer.

I'll send my ideas soon.

Hello!

It was quite long ago when I started this topic, wasn't it? :)

I have a very-very beta version of the lyrics, but it's particularly difficult to find out the exact ones to me, perhaps a native English could solve easier the problem.

So it's my version, but don't expect too much, it's totally nonsensical somewhere!

"Hey you!
And the plan that you won't beat him; playing sure of ...  anything.

The rocking he is in condition, man. Wasted he's! Suffers from (turn arounded me). A new wrest detect the tactic (?) ... from him. Hey, don't mind, it's ... (true?).

(I) knock out! The folk clap to ... (the only its??) desire, assure him a ... (revanant?). He reknew, cannot lose anything. You are missed and get anything you want.

... him. He don't (?) care... His big arms hold you. He don't (?)care how you're shaken, right all? Only want you to do, is not look back and keep your eyes straight ahead."

That's all.

Do You think so?

No, I'm just "Ommadawn".  :)

(Is the lyrics so nonsensitive???)

I have tried to make sense of the additional words too.

What I gathered is:

1st part (before the first verse):

...
Problems...
...Pay attention
Anxiety
And Excitement
...
Yeah!

2nd part (after the third verse and chorus):

...
this young man
wasted his substance in rioutous living
He wasted that which had been given to him
He don't mind (?)

3rd part (after the fourth chorus):

By no doubt
The far country of his desires received him with open arms.

And he knew he could do anything ... always and get everything you want.

...
Do you hear me.
...

He don't care much you're stronger
His big arms can hold you
He don't care how you shake and rattle
All he wants you to do is not look back
(and keep your eyes straight ahead)

Though this might be about Mike Tyson, there is nothing in there about boxing. It is about the parable of the prodigal son and the spoken bits are probably taken from some sermon on the theme.

Any further input is welcome.

I have proceeded a bit further:

The samples are taken from a sermon on "The Prodigal Son" by Rev. C.L. Franklin, the father of Aretha Franklin:

http://books.google.de/books?i....f=false

First bit:

"He was young, and the blood of youth was dancing for anxiety and excitement in his veins…"

Second bit:

"The record is that when this young man wasted his substance in riotous living, when had wasted that which had been given to him, then a mighty famine arose …"

Third bit:

"… why, no doubt, the far country of his desires received him with open arms. For when you don't need anything you can always get anything you want."

What still eludes me is the last part, the one including "He don't care how you shake and rattle"
