I wonder if Mike has founded the original tubular bells he wanted to use for the re-recording. In a interview last year he said he had trouble finding them.

I forgot to ask that question for that guitar interview where Olivier started that topic for.  :/

I'd imagine they either got bent back into shape by, or on behalf of, the hire company which they came from, or they were simply written off and sold as scrap metal. I'd have thought it would be the latter - I doubt it would be worth restoring a set of badly bent tubular bells, I'd imagine it would cost more than they're worth, if it's possible at all. I'm certainly not aware of Mike having found them.
