Medal 9: Spacelift

The spacelift can be found in Blind Man’s World which is reached by firing at the bowler hat that is on a pedestal in the next room after the Hall of Tunnels room along the main corridor of the spaceship.

On entering Blind Man’s World you will see the medal on the spacelift in the centre of the world.  Collect the medal, and leave through the bent tube which brings you back to the spaceship, or through the figure-of-eight portal which takes you to the cave, and from there to the castle.

Medal 10: Gears

If you are on the medals quest you will find it impossible to enter Gears World by the conventional method of using the pedestal that has gears on it (the room at the starboard front of spaceship).  Instead you will have to go first to Castle World (see Medal 5 or Medal 9) and then fly through the painting showing gear wheels, located at the centre of the castle to the left of the table.

On arrival, you will be transported by some flying gear wheels to a giant clock face lying horizontally in a sea.  Move towards the centre of the clock and you will see two arches, between which is the medal you are seeking.  Collect it.  To leave find the figure-of-eight portal that is circling the clock face and lock on to it.  Position yourself so that the portal is moving towards yourself.  Fire a gear wheel at it and you will return to the main hall of the spaceship.

Medal 15: Stairs

The entrance to the Stairs World is in the same room as the entrance to the Jets game (see Medal 1: Desert White) only this time you need to fire at the pedestal that supports a wind turbine.

In the centre of the world is a very long staircase that spirals into the sky.  The medal is located on the third step from the top, but before you climb upwards, stop off at the third step from the bottom.  You will see a gravitar pen, and as you move in closer the sky turns green and many yellow acrobats start to tumble to the sound of Harmonics.

When you are ready, climb the staircase and collect the medal on the third step from the top.  Leave through the stained glass window on the very top step or return to ground level and pass through the bent tube.

You can also leave through the portal next to the place where you materialised in this world.

Medal 1: Desert White ("The Jets Game")

It's enormously easier to complete the Jets game if you're flying with an avatar - a cometar being the easiest of all. Without an avatar, you'll find your movements in Jets World very difficult to control. Once you have your cometar, fly to the portal that leads to the Jets Game (see map).

One caveat here: it doesn't seem possible to take a cometar with you into the castle world, if you enter the castle world from the portal in the hall of tunnels; it gets left behind. It is possible to take the snail avatar there, though. It's easy to collect the medal from the running horse with the snail as avatar, but I have yet to explore the Jets Game using the snail.
