LyricsMania is just one of the many, many, many, many... (too many!! :D) unofficial lyrics sites around the Net. As a general lyrics site (i.e. not focused on any specific artist), the chance that what they post is partly or totally wrong [when they don't transcibe the lyrics directly off the booklet(s)] is nearly 100% :p Just to give another example: the first line in the chorus, which IMHO is one of the clearest and easiest-to-understand parts of the song, sounds very much like "Surfing, I'm surfing..." And yet here we have "Surfing, like surfing..." :D

"Have you seen the fades in my skies?"?? Oh, the mystique of obliquity! Frankly, I could do with less shadowy lyrics, but I still like this song.

"I'm no physicist, but technically couldn't Mike both be with the horse and be flying through space at the same time? (On account of the earth's orbit around the Sun and all that). So it seems he never had to make the choice after all. I bet he's kicking himself now." - clotty
