i must confess this song isn't easy to understand for a non native english.. i've written down what i think it says but there are some gaps that i can't even guess. and i'm not so certain about some parts, they could be wrong too.
i believe i haven't seen it written complete anywhere yet, could someone help to complete it?

------------------------------------

Have u seen those earrings in my eyes?
Which one ....... u in?

Have u seen the faces in my stars?
We can't cause...

Surfing i'm surfing i'm hooked and i'm searching
like fallen right into the net.
Morning and evening i'm flying, i'm dreaming
oh i can't keep it out of my head.

Surfing...

Have u seen the phantom in my dream?
Which one.........

Have u seen those faces / the spaces in between?
We can't cons...

surfing i'm surfing....

Have u seen those earrings in my eyes?

Regardless, that is the best line since "Shot 6 Times by her manager Ron" or "Take a Winter, Brain, and Saw".

Flash and gleam among the oak-trees,

I don't have the CD or the song yet, so I'll take your word on it for now.

I think it might be:

Have you seen those eyes in my eyes
(you won't believe it)
Have you seen the mazes in my skies
(we have seen it)

Surfing I'm surfing, I'm hooked and I'm searching
I've fallen right into the net
Morning and evening I'm flying, I'm dreaming
Oh, can't keep it out of my head

Have you seen the phantom in my dreams
(we won't believe it)
Have you seen the spaces in between
(we have seen it)

CHORUS

Well, I've asked myself the same question about what the computer really sings, so please right me when I'm wrong!! It's a cool lyric by the way!! (I'm a lyricist myself, my best title: In the glow of love and Dancing Boy, about the Billy Elliot film!  ) :D Greetings from happy holland!

i agree it could be 'mazes' instead of 'faces', but i'm not quite sure about the first line, although it's got more sense than what i understand... but if u sing 'eyes' and not 'earrings', it seems to me there's a lack of some other sound.
also, i'm not either sure about the answers in brackets, but that's the most difficult part to understand for me, so u could well be right.
hopefully, some other people will give us a hand in this.
anyway thank u a lot for writing what u hear, happy dutch :)

That's what I hear too. And here's the rest, as heard by me:

Have you seen the sunrise in my eyes?
(Be warned. Believe it.)
Have you seen the phases in my skies?
(We have conceived it.)

Have you seen the phantom in my dreams?
(Be warned. Believe it.)
Have you seen the spaces in between?
(We have conceived it.)

I think you might be right with the word Sunrise, although it seems then the word sunrise is spoken quite fast!
And what I said earlier (we have seen it) is wrong I know now... thanks! I think 'we have conceived it' is probably right, so thanks! :D  "Be warned, believe it" could just as well be right, but I can't se sure! I think the word "phases" as Solus said could be right, but try to listen to it and think it's mazes... then what do you think? But then again, you could just as well be right :)  I only just read that someone said that Surfing is a song about the internet... never thought of that: I was imagining mike on a real surfboard in the sea!  :p  :O  Greetings again from HappyHolland! OH, by the way... I'm not sure about the word hooked too, in the chorus!

Verse 1:
Have you seen the signs in my eyes?
Quote
(Be warned. Believe it.)
Correct. :)
Quote
Have you seen the phases in my skies?
Correct. :)

[We can't conceive it.]

Verse 2:
Quote
Have you seen the phantom in my dreams?
Correct. :)

Quote
Have you seen the spaces in between?
Correct. :)

Voice in parenthesis - as above. ;)

Great that you thought of the word 'signs'! That fits perfectly :D . Are you sure about 'phases'?
Then knowing the words, what would you think is the meaning? It's a bit hazy to me :/  Still, I think it's a great lyric! Is it about being trapped in a computergame? or is that plain nonsense :p  :O

Yes, I am. :)

It is about being trapped in the Internet. Just like Sandra Bullock in that film, "The Net". :p

"Signs in my eyes" = characteres (fonts) on a computer screen reflecting in one's eyes.
"Phases in the skies" = the changeability of websites.
"Phantom in my dreams" = the Internet haunting one's dreams.
"Spaces in between" = non-existing or deleted pages, 404s.

This is what I think, anyway. :)

Greetings from messed-up Italy. :D

That's a pretty good interpretation, Ugo. I knew the song was about internet, but I've never tried to interpret the lyrics.
Also, I agree with your correction on "can't conceive", but as for "signs", I hear "sunrise" instead. It seems that whatever the word it may be, it has one syllable more than "signs".
Although I don't know what "sunrise in my eyes" could mean.
Maybe something metaphorical...

@ Solus: if it were "sunrise", it would be the only word in the song being pronounced in an un-natural way for the English language (sun-RISE), when everything else is pronounced according to a correct English pronounciation, at least as far as accent is concerned. I rather think it's a lenghtening of "signs", i.e. the word was [programmed to be] sung either as "s-signs" or as "si-igns". Yes, it's stupid :D, but perhaps this is Mike's way of highlighting the fact that it's a virtual voice singing this. ;) However, I also think we could be arguing for ages about this - like "some make chaos (cars?)" [On Horseback], "presented her sex" [Family Man] or "an Internet story" [Foreign Affair - written before the Internet existed :)] - until Mike himself pokes his nose in here & tells us what that word really is. :)

"Have you seen the sunrise in my eyes", in my own interpretation of the song's context, makes no sense at all. :)

To me it sounds like "sunrise" spoken very quickly. But then again, just listening to the way that whispered Vocaloid says "Our Father" makes me think that they might as well br singing about orange juice and pretzels instead.

Well, since the voice is completely synthetic, it can't always sound right. Yes, in some places on the album, it sounds very real, but those are only simpler words. The other times it's obvious it's synthetic, but that somehow fits the songs.
So, maybe Mike intentionally put it as "sun-rise", or maybe it's just a software imperfection, or something completely... else.
But, in it's own way, it makes the song special, right? Or am I just making excuses?
