Cool article, nice to see Mike choosing other ppl's works...but choosing also TB 2003 is something I've imagined("I am great" spirit).

Very interesting article, weird to him him talk so fondly of Eric Clapton, because always though that Mike did'nt really think much of Eric's playing, but maybe he was talking about his playing these days,no mention of the Shadows though, which i was exspecting

Yes, and no Sibelius or Rodrigo either...

Can't believe I've only just seen this interesting article. There are a couple of records I've got there, Ravi Shankar, Cream , Kevin Ayers, maybe I'll investigate some of the others too!

I have All Things Must Pass,Whatevershebringswesing,Wheels of Fire and TB2003.personally i'm more surprised that there's no Bert Jansch or John Renbourne as their playing is evident is his own early acoustic playing and he has stated that they were a huge influence.Very odd.

Listen to Mohribold; an epic musical tapestry that weaves between a multitude of genres.

Andrew Taylor's Mohribold album has proved very popular with fans of symphonic-rock, prog-rock, psych-folk and indeed Oldfield's classic albums!

It is a damn fine album, although i prefer The Concert For Bangla Desh.Clapton really does play an awfull solo on While My Guitar Gently Weeps though. It was in his heroin period but it's really not good.
