In my 'Brownian' way I've finally listened to Mike's music for the 2012 Olympics. Very impressive, and most interesting to me was the variation on the 'Far Above the Clouds' melody. On TB3 this always had a quality of doom about it, but when I was listening to the Olympics music I could sense that the melody was going to take a joyous upturn, and sure enough it did. I could almost hear the future melody in my mind.

Best thing about that gig is people got to briefly hear Mike play the bass guitar live again, possibly for the last time. Pretty serious thing. Very distinctive and overlooked part of his sound.

Question is, did they ask him to play in Dulci Jubilo?  :p

In dull see jubilo? Mike's music could transform even the dullest in jubilation!
