There doesn't seem to be much talk about Quicksilver and it seems to be left off of people's favourite lists. Is it because it sounds like a TB clone?

Actually I'm finding it growing in my favourite list on L+S. It has a lovely melody plus a great spanish guitar like sound (reminiscent of Serpent Dream).

Or maybe it's the dolphins

I must admit, I prefer my de-tranced U-MYX version!

It is good, but the original is too 'do do do do do do do do' all the way through  :/

So will that beat toned down, and the dolphins/whales enhanced, it's great!  :D

I really like Quicksilver, I have it as one of my favourite songs, both cd's included. And as I wrote in another thread here I personally think of Quicksilver as an Tubular Bells 4-song if that album ever were going to be released. I really do here the Tubular-theme/tones/melody, whatever you will call it, in Quicksilver. A perfekt way to bring Tubular Bells forward.

I'm beginning to wish I had overlooked the entire album.

My thoughts exactly. I can't bear to keep it playing through to the end. That incessant repetitive thumping has me reaching for the paracetamol. Yikes! Maybe I'll try a remix too, though I'm not sure it's worth it really.

I agree with the bell. I like it but I have my own de-tranced version. Same with slipstream. Quicksilver is probably my favourite track on the album.

From the few times I've listened to the track, I can't recall anything Tubular Bells related about it. As with all the dance tracks on Shade it's not a track I really like, but the guitar is quite nice in places.
