Hi there,

I have the 2010 mix of Ommadawn and find it to be very bright. The swirling Celtic mists of the original mix have gone (which I've heard on the 2010 deluxe version). I'd like to get a CD copy of the original. However, there's a bewildering choice of various releases and some confusion over which ones are remastered, reissued, original vs boxed mix etc.

Help!  Which release would you recommend?

I cannot remember being offended by the Boxed mix at all. It's warm, I recommend it.
