http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ommadawn-Explicit/dp/B003NLRR7W/

they put him in New Age, they put him in Classical, they put him in Jazz, now they classify him as [Explicit]

This is because of the presence of eye-one's so-called riddle.

It's probably because of the lyrics to the Horse Song:

"I like beer" - what else is that than an invitation to become an alcoholic? It's about time such dubious and immoral references were banned.

This has probably to do with the fact that he recorded his magnificent solo on Part One whilst looking at some nudie mags. No kidding!

:O

Klaus Schulze once wrote the music for a xxx movie from Lasse Braun, the album is called Body Love.

I guess in case of Ommadawn the movie never came out.

He could of ended up being placed in the naturist, sorry naturalist section between Born Free & Old McDonald had a farm one states sheepishly :D.

Xplicit I suppose may of at least put him in a category of his own, which would be much MOre fitting as I think we all believe his music is quite unique, I am just relieved he has not been placed in the campanology section.

Again, I guess it's because of the jokes in the ending of the demo version. One voice in there says: "I don't care about that. How big's his bottle?". With a little stretch of that imagination, that may be seen as vulgar. After all, where do you put a bottle when you want to drink fom it? :D

There's quite a lot of absolutely un-explicit albums on amazon which carry the label "explicit". Even Michael Rother scored one explicit album (http://www.amazon.de/Suessherz-und-Tiefenschaerfe-Explicit/dp/B001SJE1HU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1333528787&sr=8-5) - the album title means "sweetheart and depth of field" (which is ok I think...), the other track titles don't have anything "slippery" in them and the album is purely instrumental!! Would be really interesting to know how amazon decides whether an album is explicit or not...
