Hi

I joined the forum a few days ago and have already communicated with a few of you and thanks for making me welcome!

I've been into MO since late 80's (Platinum being my first album) and seen him a few times.

I was into all the electronic stuff in the 80's with MO up there with the likes of Ultravox, Jarre, Kraftwerk, Bill Nelson etc.... (my username comes from an Ultravox song called Quietmen... btw) today I like stuff like Arcade Fire, Jon Hopkins, Ulrich Snauss, Fever Ray, The Knife, Shearwater etc...

Nowadays, I live in Wales (near Brecon) run a cafe/B&B with my partner and write music in the evenings on Sonar Producer (a few of my tracks I have put as topics on Fans Tracks).

So would be good to communicate with other MO fans a like minded people.

You can listen to my music on Soundcloud:

All the best

Just out of interest, Quietman, what are your favourite MO albums? Are there any you don't like?

Hmmmmm...

With every group/artist I like there are some 'duff' tracks/albums and yes there are some MO tracks/CDs I like less than others . But that's my opinion of course...

Let's start by favourite albums:

Platinum
Voyager
Tubular Bells II
Five Miles Out (mainly for Taurus 2)
Songs Of Distant Earth
Millenium Bell
Light and Shade

The ones I don't listen to so much are:
amarok
Incantations

It's amazing how each person comes up with a different permutation of favourite albums. It must be a record company marketer's nightmare!
