Label is Immortal  :/
So it's semi-official...
They buy televisionbroadcasts and put those on cd and dvd, but no remastering or clean up, so be prepared for bootleg "quality"...

It's in fact the so called Rockpop In Concert show from December 20th in the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund.

The show is the same shown on German ZDF channel on January 1st 1981. Too bad Silent Night from that show is missing.

:/

i have dvd directly ordered from ZDF years ago as they offered 2 different recordings from it i seen them both and they was mono recordings...

We also have been available fan made dvd from it so i can check if they done it better.

Its odd if it is stereo but it must be if they offering CD version also but maybe ZDF also had separated audio recorded which they didnt include to video broadcasts

I would like to see dvd releases of Roskilde 82 and Viareggio 84 i think atleast Viareggio recording is possible to get from RAI

I purchased both cd and dvd from local record store here in Tampere, Finland. I have to say that the picture quality is not so good on dvd, but anyway it is great to see Mike and the band in excellent shape. The set is stunning.

As Immortal is not really official, I was sure that the quality of the cover would not be great. Anyway, if the sound is stereo and good, then this is a great set!

:)

The song set is stunning, not cover art or sound and picture quality. :)  Anyway these are quite cheap and worth for money.

I have gotten this now in my hands...let me explain little...

This is exactly same material I released in spanish MO torrent site few years back...even my own special effect i made to avoid cut between taurus and sheba (since i used 2 different recording sources), is present in this dvd.

I made comparison to my original release copy and this...original is 4:3 25fps pal and this is scaled to 16:9 30fps ntsc
I noticed loss of quality immediately this new dvd has alot more noticable compression artifacts than my original release.
This dvd also about 1min30sec shorter because it misses intro and start directly from music

Sound is definately MONO in this dvd also but its made to sound better than original audio track but this audio original is mono so i assume CD version is made from mono track too.
Menu has options to choose 5.1 DD, 5.1 DTS and Stereo...good joke there lol.

shortly: Avoid this release especially if you still have that dvd image from torrent because its better than this.

here is comparison frame images.

Originally released in torrent site by me:

Immortal DVD copy (notice artifacts around mic in 2nd pic that are not present in my original VOB file):

some images from dvd:
