this is a nice project in which we've been working in spain for some months now. the idea was born in A Man and His Music, David (Toroacu)'s blog, as something to make this long interview available in spanish for everyone here. the deadline to start its distribution through that tree u've linked will be on the 31st december.

when everyone who's working on it joined in the project and gave ideas, we realized we could do something really good (the dvd will have a beautiful cover, menu, the subtitles with the translation in spanish and a beautiful booklet) so to avoid any kind of trouble -since we all are doing it simply for sharing it with everyone else who's interested- someone contacted universal to tell them what we are doing and they approved it.

the main content of the dvd will be the 26 minutes interview, the sort of summary of the interview with music in the background (which file name -if i'm right- was EP2005Part2DSL in oldfield.de) and the videobotschaft, the three of them with subtitles in spanish and some other extras as u can see in the link u've provided.

hope this helps, tubularman.

well amazarak... that was not the former intention.. as i said before, the idea of doing this dvd was to share this promotional interview with spanish people. and the best way to distribute it seems to be the dvd tree, originally designed by octavio molano (OMA).

anyway, there's some talk about it and if there are enough people, maybe another "international dvd tree" -whose structure was also designed time ago by octavio to distribute the quadraphonic editions of the first albums by mike oldfield- could be organized.

the dvd has got mike's original voice with the interview in english, of course, what we've done is to translate it and the spanish part will be on the subtitles, which i think u can make appear or not by using the menu.

so, maybe for the moment, this thread could be a good place to leave a notice if anyone is interested on the idea?
