I think that for me, playing tunes on the same chord sequence for hours and hours would just make things worse! I'd suggest doing something else instead, if there's no reason why you have to make music - if you have to complete it for a job, that's of course different, but if you don't have to, leaving it to one side for a while can work wonders. I think that the important thing is to not get stressed over it, trying to hard to make things work when they're not happening just ends up making it worse, in my experience. Don't worry about it, it happens to everyone at some point. Me? I go out and take photographs instead...it works for me... Back to top

I mean, I think I got too much used to success...and now I miss it...on the other point...I am quite disappointed I can't work and be so much inspired as before...is it possible I am getting too old for it? that I have no fresh ideas anymore? I mean...that when I did for example the glock sound for Finale...I had so much ideas, I had FM synths running with different modulations on each channel, added the noises... I can't think of anything what would be so fresh anymore... maybe also my christmas album Love and Friendship was fresh...but all my works..since then suck bad Back to top

It's a set of little cards with several "hints" written by him and another artist, whose name I don't remember now. They give little interesting hints, stuff like "make am exhaustive list of everything you will do, and do the last thing on the list", "take the most embarrassing details and amplify them", etc. It's very interesting, and can give some insight to people doing music. Search for it on the Internet, there are some little programs that shuffle those hints and displays them.
