It did indeed sound massive. Of course the performance had its various flaws, which no doubt will be discussed in detail here in the coming days, but when it sounded good, it sounded really good. Having the choir more forward in the balance of Harbinger lent it more power. Hayley Westenra's voice also sounded much larger and richer to me than on the studio recording, where I find it rather over-brightened and treated. The bells in Musica Universalis also sounded huge, as did the final thunderous chord.

Apparently concerts in Barcelona and Madrid have been talked about. It'll certainly be nice if it gets performed more often so that more fans get a chance to hear (and hopefully also see! ) it being performed live.

I wonder how they'd react if we approached them about organising our own performances of it...
