There are several strange points in this issue. For instance, it's not Universal themselves who are carrying Mike's promo in Spain, but an off-company group-
Then, these 200-people event is not exclusive for press, but most of the room will be filled with "authorities, personalities and both orchestra and choir invitations" (quite frustrating). There has been a lot of restrictions regarding press passes.

AFAIK, first Guggenheim rumours started in December.

Even for serious journalists that have not been passes at all.
In any case, it could have been a great opportunity to organise a fan meeting in Bilbao.
