i found alot of mikes old vids using youtube..

why not post here?

Post links to all 59 MO-related videos? It's pretty easy to just go to that site, input "Mike Oldfield," click "search" and get a listing.

I wonder how long that site (or portion of it) will exist? I am not a copyright attorney nor do I play one on TV, but I thought I knew a few things about the subject, and availing commercially available videos like that seems a blatant violation.

sry Inkanta

just thought if they are showing.. why not share them. yes i am sure youtube are going to be busted soon,i found the full motion picture of pink floyd the wall the other night

btw if you aint seen this film or heard pink floyd..take time out and watch this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....%20wall

and you dont always find rare mike vids by just typing in mike oldfield..eg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxj6LH2XoMc&search=ommadawn

or

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zR65VYRylLc&search=tubular%20bells

its to do with tag search.. ^ btw some great rare footage there :)

thats why i said if you find share

but i cant see any probs with us posting mikes video links here as they are hosting them?

.thx all

Where did that footage of a topless Mike playing Top of the Morning come form? It looks like it was recorded in the 80's.

Great to see the footage of Family Man at Horseguards Parade, I've seen any of the non released stuff they played. Its amazing.

It isn't Mike, it is a fan playing Mike's music.

Probably grim and only a matter of time....

The performance of Tubular Bells from 1970's was there (it stated 1976) It's now gone too. What a shame . Maybe theres a plan to release officially. I hope so. it was great to see the musicians and how the piece built. Currently a making of Ommadawn video up there. Bet it's days are numbered too.
Tons of great old Tangerine Dream there too

If you mean the BBC 2nd House program in which the full TB (part 1) was played, it was released officially on the Elements DVD in 2004 (the DVD information says wrongly that it was from 1976 while it was originally broadcasted in 1974).

That's baffled :O me about that recording of Tubular Bells, I read it was 1976, on the DVD, but I could swear blindly it was 1973/4 to promote the album  :) . As after all why wait nearly 3 years to promote an album.

I'm sure I've seen clips of it on TV before   I really became a big fan of Mike, in the early 90's as those fairground horses seem familiar.

Better let not Mike see these, or he will probably start playing the bells with his MIDI guitar...

This reminded me of some pictures I saw that I had saved but lost when my pc blew up, and I thought I got them from this site, of a workshop making Tubular Bells and bending them into the famous shape. I think there were 3 of them. I had them labelled as 'work in progress' but I can't recall if that was a name they had before. Does anyone remember these pictures or know where to find them?

I suppose you probably think of the first picture on the site of Hans Claesson's marvellous wallpapers. :)
