What I'd like to know is...if Mike's only just learnt the Northumbrian bagpipes, how did he manage to play them on QE2? ;)

Well, now you understand : he didn't know. That's why he had to get drunk so much (re my chat question about being serious). And now that he wants to rerecord stuff, he has to learn it for real ! Or keep being drunk.

I was rather chuffed he answered my question re radio control aircraft.
I've noticed he flies RC aircraft hence the model glider on the Hergest Ridge album and as a flier myself was curious to see if he still stirs the sticks (as we say).
