The Gibson TV is the one used throughout the Exposed video

That guitar is actually the yellow Gibson Ls6 Duluxe because even though the yellow Gibson Ls6 and yellow Gibson Tv look similer the yellow Gibson Tv has only 22 frets wheras the yellow Gibson Ls6 Duluxe amongst other things has 24 frets like on the "Exposed video".

The yellow Gibson Tv appears in two shots in addition to the Fender Stratocaster and the cherry red Gibson sg on the "Shadow On The Wall" video on the "Elements Dvd".

Mike Oldfield also used a variation of the yellow Gibson Ls6 as well on the "Exposed video" which is a black Gibson Ls6 Custom.  :)  :)

I dont think this is correct.  The Yellow Gibson Les Paul Junior TV has 24 frets.    Ray

Correction :  You are right - the Exposed video is the Gison L6S.  infact there are two - one natural and one black.  the black one has the 7 position selector switch and the natural one has the through body strings.  So you were right.

I just spotted the Gibson LP junior TV in the Shadow on the wall video though!

Erm it's in the land down under, I'll try to get some photos up when I work out how too.
It is a 1989 John Le Voi and the certificate suggests that it was used on Ommadawn..........  Yes you heard me!
I think that Mike was either in a hurry or in a bottle of brandy when he wrote his bit on the certificates
Although this bouzouki could not be associated with Ommadawn It can be heard clear as a bell on 1990s Amarok (and I don't think the strings have been changed since)
I'm going to give it a full service soon, but I'll put the old strings safely away as they were touched by my favorite musical hero!

I did want to get one of the Sg juniors (the sound Mike made with those guitars were the main influence in picking up a guitar myself) but I was not quick enough off the mark and my pockets were not deep enough. (I already have a juinor or two anyway)...
However I'm so glad that the real fans purchased all of Mike's fire sale instruments and that they are not locked up in bank vaults..

On my first album (I think Moonchildhippy has a copy of it) There was a tune called "Rojers Bouzouki" which was recorded using a friends (Rojer) bouzouki.
I now wonder if I should write a tune called "Mike's Bouzouki" for my next one?

We are waiting for your pictures, and if you agree....take a photo of the certificate, too.

By the way, when did you buy it? Last year in February, like the other fans or only this year?

What about the Mandoline? Who bought it?

:)

Hmm... don't know about the mando.
I got it last year when all of the other stuff was for sale. I had to sell about 5 other guitars and my drum kit to pay for it (and it was worth every cent)

wow!  Thats alot of money for a guitar.  I bought Mike's 2CWE 1999 Ramirez back in 2006, play it nearly every day.  I wouldn't have looked twice at a price like that though, this is clearly a specialist guitar.  Its a bit lost on me, can someone explain why it is so expensive? I'm suprised the seller didn't put a copy of the certificate from Chandlers as part of the Ebay advert (I'm assuming he got a certificate) or a picture of Mike playing the guitar (he says you can ask for one?!?).

This price isn´t reasonable at all. That instrument isn´t featured distinctively on any of Mikes records. I assume that the original spanish buyer hasn´t payed more than a decent percentage of the asked price. I may be proven wrong.

The Ramirez Flamenco sold for 1350 GBP and that was used on Ommadawn and Wonderful Land!
