You might remember me saying I wanted a MO boxed set. Since Virgin, WEA and Mercury, so far, failed to impress me, I created my own. Here are the sleeves for the CDs (didn't create an "outer sleeve" yet) -- whaddayathink?

(I am posting CD1 now, when this topic appears online I will post CD2 and CD3)

very good  ;)  I love what you have done with the pictures.
Maybe you should done something with 1980 mike too? That would be perfect! One 70, one now and one from 80's!
But you are good!
Lovely to look at. I wish that they could done it black and white too. That would be nice, like you do here!

I would need a big (at least 800x800) picture of Mike from the Eighties, it would be best if it was on black background :] I need one for CD4 anyway, as the boxed set is going to feature all singles (CD1+CD2), b-sides (CD3) and extended mixes (CD4). Any hints?

Hey I dig your artwork, man. It's really neat. A whole lot better than that crappy Platinum Collection 'design'.

Here a a few links to pictures from Mike in the eighties you might be able to use (you'll have to make the background black yourself):

I can't believe I missed this thread,  I was without regular access to a computer when this was posted :O.

Hey Navaira, great artwork, I especially love that third picture with a hippy Mike, that's just so beautiful, gorgeous. WOW!!!!
I must admit I saved that one and have it as my desktop background on my PC,  the only thing is I'm not sure how to remove the writing.
Have you ever thouhgt about manufacture/sale of these prints, I'd love a quality one to hang on my wall, when I said about selling them I didn't mean for profit, but instead any profits could be donated to a charity/charities of Mike's choice.  I'm sure they'd sell, and sell well .

   :)

G'day Navaira,

Like Moonchild I esp love the 3rd cd cover and the black and white looks brilliant.

Going along the lines of your presentation, I would have made cd 1 with the 70's Mike (as you have on cd 3, isn't he gorgeous!!!! ), cd 2 with the 80's Mike (I'm sure there is one! good photo of him from that era altho it is definitely my least favourite), cd 3 with the 90's Mike (would have to be the long haired TBII look) and cd 4 with the 00's Mike (the pic you have on cd 2 is perfect).

When do we get to see the track listing?

Hey Dude, where have you been, have not seen you for a very long time. How are you?
